Short post. Earlier today, SKE48 Team KII member Hata Sawako (Shawako) appeared as a guest on the TV show Shibuya Deep A. Her shyness on camera still showed a little, but I thought her acting was pretty decent. And of course, she was absolutely beautiful and adorable. Not going into much detail about the show, but pics and video of her acting after the jump.
It looks as though SKE48, NMB48, and SDN48 will be appearing on a special HEY! HEY! HEY!, which will air on September 26th. Also scheduled to appear are other idol girl groups including Idoling!!!, Momoiro Clover Z, SUPER☆GIRLS, 9nine, bump.y, and Fairies.
The janken tournament to determine the senbatsu and center for AKB48’s 24th single was held two days ago on September 20th. The tournament was ultimately won by Team A member Shinoda Mariko (Mariko-sama). I’m happy for her and her chance to be the center for a single for the first time. But I’m even happier on how the rest of the senbatsu ended up.
After the last two singles, Everyday, Kachuusha and Flying Get, for the most part underwhelmed me, I am hoping that Kaze wa Fuiteiru is a single that I will absolutely love. From the short PV preview, I think the song sounds pretty nice and better than the last two title single songs, which I started to dislike the more and more it was played.
As for the video, I’m not a big fan of dull, unbright, cheap-looking background. And I felt the lame costumes make the girls look completely homogenized with no special individual differences between them. I hate feeling so negative about the PV and I hope the full PV proves me completely wrong.
With her birthday (September 14) less than a week away, I figured I’d write a short post on my SKE48 oshi, Hata Sawako (Shawako).
