A new ROUND1 CM featuring NMB48 members Yamamoto Sayaka (Sayanee), Watanabe Miyuki (Milky), Yamada Nana (Nana), Fukumoto Aina (Ai-nyan), and Jo Eriko (Jo) has been released. In the CM, the first four girls appear as ROUND1 employees working and showing off all the cool activities to do at ROUND1 including bowling and karaoke. Jo makes an appearance as a bowling customer. NMB48’s 3rd single Junjou U-19 plays as the background song. Another fun ROUND1 CM. Wish I could go back to one.
100th post and of course, it’s about more NMB success. With Saturday’s sales and not including weekly adjustments yet, NMB48’s 3rd single Junjou U-19 has sold a total of 322,685 copies so far this week. The first NMB48 single to sell over 300,000 in its first week. Unsurprisingly, in terms of total sales, it looks like Junjou U-19 has overtaken Oh My God! as NMB48’s best selling single to date. Once again, congratulations NMB48!
Going to update on Junjou U-19’s first week sales continuously here on this post.
Second day figures for NMB48’s 3rd single Junjou U-19 have been released and NMB is still #1. The single sold 18,903 copies on its second day. After two days, the single has sold 299,270 copies. Almost at the 300,000 mark and I expect another surge to boost sales. So yeah, I think things are looking good for Junjou U-19 and NMB.
Looks like NMB’s popularity keeps on growing and growing. The first day sales figures for NMB48’s 3rd single Junjou U-19 have been released and the girls easily took 1st place for the day. 280,367 copies on its first day. In one day, Junjou U-19 has surpassed Oh My God! 1st week sales. Really happy to see this because I think Junjou U-19 is their strongest and most complete single released so far and I can’t wait to see how big the 1st week sales numbers will be. Congratulations, NMB48!
EDIT: New preview of Junjou U-19 PV up on NMB48’s Official Youtube account.
On the most recent episode of Docking48!, a short PV preview of NMB48’s 3rd single Junjou U-19 was revealed. Looking back at the Zetsumetsu Kurokami Shoujo and Oh My God! PVs, I found them okay, but slightly boring. From the preview, it certainly looks like the Junjou U-19 PV will be anything but boring.
On the official NMB website and the official NMB blog, the covers and details for NMB48’s 3rd single, Junjou U-19, have been released. The coupling song is still to be determined. Type-A copies of the single will feature the Shirogumi song Doryoku no Shizuku, Type B will have the Akagumi song Migi he Magare and Type-C will feature the NMB7 song Renai no Speed. NMB7 will feature members Yamamoto Sayaka (Sayanee), Watanabe Miyuki (Milky), Yamada Nana (Nana), Ogasawara Mayu (Maachun), Fukumoto Aina (Ai-nyan), Jonishi Kei (Keicchi), and Jo Eriko (Jou). Junjou U-19 releases on February 8th.
The covers intrigue me, especially Sayanee’s hair and the golden cannon in the A cover. I still am not the biggest fan of their gold costumes in the B covers and it lacks the impact the A cover does. The C cover is a little plainish, which isn’t exactly a bad thing to me. Also, I’m a little sad seeing Nana removed from the theater edition cover, but as I’ve said before, Jou will be Team M’s ace when it’s formed, so I’m not too surprised by this.
The name of NMB48’s third single has been announced and its title: Junjou U-19. From the official website, the senbatsu for Junjou U-19:
Team N: Yamamoto Sayaka, Watanabe Miyuki, Yamada Nana, Fukumoto Aina, Ogasawara Mayu, Jonishi Kei, Shiroma Miru, Kadowaki Kanako, Kondo Rina, Kotani Riho, Kinoshita Haruna, Kishino Rika
1st Gen KKS: Kinoshita Momoka
2nd Gen KKS: Jo Eriko, Yagura Fuuko, Yogi Keira
That means that from the Oh My God! senbatsu Team N member Yamaguchi Yuuki (Yuppi), 1st Gen KKS Yamagishi Natsumi (Natsumin), and 2nd Gen KKS Murakami Ayaka (Ayachan) have been removed in favor of Team N members Watanabe Miyuki (Milky) and Kondo Rina (Riichan) along with 1st Gen KKS Kinoshita Momoka (Kinoshita).
The line-up for Shirogumi and Akagumi this single are as follows:
Team N: Yamamoto Sayaka, Yamada Nana, Ogasawara Mayu, Kadowaki Kanako, Kinoshita Haruna, Kishino Rika, Shinohara Kanna
1st Gen KKS: Yamagishi Natsumi, Okita Ayaka
2nd Gen KKS: Jo Eriko, Yogi Keira, Kodakari Yuuka
Team N: Watanabe Miyuki, Fukumoto Aina, Jonishi Kei, Shiroma Miru, Kondo Rina, Kotani Riho, Yamaguchi Yuuki
1st Gen KKS: Kinoshita Momoka, Hikawa Ayame
2nd Gen KKS: Yagura Fuuko, Murakami Ayaka, Tanigawa Airi
Really disappointed that Yuppi was removed from senbatsu especially after coming off making the Ue kara Mariko senbatsu, but then again I knew someone I loved from NMB would be taken out. Really sad. I’m really hoping she gets a big part in the Akagumi PV.
NMB48’s 3rd single, Junjou U-19, releases on February 8, 2012.
