My Pure·Heavy Rotation – NMB48′s Oh My God!

My top two favorite ***48-related singles released so far have come from my favorite ***48. I’ve been converted by the sheer awesomeness of NMB48, Naniwa Nadeshiko, and their two singles. Zetsumetsu Kurokami Shoujo remains my favorite single of the year and it’s still a song I never tire hearing of. Not to be undone, Oh My God! has been another successful and well done single. I love it.

My Pure·Wonder – Oh My God! Weekly Sales

It’s been a week since NMB48’s second single, Oh My God!, has been released. In that week, Oh My God! has sold over 265,000 copies, outselling Zetsumetsu Kurokami Shoujo‘s total sales in its first week. That also makes two straight singles at #1. Things look really good for NMB48 going into the future. Congratulations, NMB48!

My Pure·Delight – Oh My God! 1st Day Sales

NMB48’s 2nd single, Oh My God!, was released today (or yesterday depending on where you live) and the 1st day sale numbers are out. According to Oricon, NMB48 has sold 172,474 copies of Oh My God! on the single’s first day. Looks pretty certain NMB48 will have their second straight #1 single and hopefully this single will continue to sell strong and outsell Zetsumetsu Kurokami Shoujo. Congrats, NMB48!

My Pure·Thoughts – Oh My God! PV Long Story Version

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the PV for NMB48’s second single, Oh My God!. It wasn’t bad, but the soccer storyline involved in the PV was uninteresting and didn’t make much sense to me. Luckily, there is a long, story version of the PV (around 11 minutes long) that solves that problem.

My Pure·Thoughts – Oh My God! PV

The full non-dance PV of NMB48’s 2nd single, Oh My God!,  has been leaked online. The PV shows the girls playing soccer match and struggling mightily until 2nd Gen KKS Jo Eriko (Jou) shows up and the team starts to play together. Overall, the PV seems to have a very cheap quality about it. The soccer storyline seems pretty uninteresting to me and the video is saved to me by the dance segments. I can’t wait to see the pyramid done on live performances of Oh My God!. Certainly not the greatest PV, but I like the song and the NMB girls a lot, so I can tolerate it.
